Today marks the 150th anniversary of the novel Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. And you know how much I love this book and its creatures! I celebrated it since the begining of the year, with the creation of the Seven Impossible Things Before Breakfast series, reviewed today in the Hungarian magazine Memoria Online by the amazing Réka, and with the ongoing Alice’s Dream postcard series – above is the first trial card for you to see!
If you’re in Glasgow, you’ll find The White Rabbit (and a few more pieces amongst other amazing artists) exhibited at Broadcast this summer, from next Friday – here’s the facebook event.
If you’re in London, you’ll find the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat and possibly the Queen of Hearts (and a few more pieces amongst other amazing artists) for the Juxtapose exhibition at Image gallery, Camden, from the 15th to the 23rd of August
Aujourd’hui est célébré le 150ème anniversaire d’Alice au pays des merveilles par Lewis Carroll. Et vous savez combien j’aime ce livre et les créatures qu’il renferme! Je lui ai rendu hommage depuis le début de l’année, avec la création de la série des Sept Impossibles, sujet d’un article publié aujourd’hui par l’adorable Réka dans le magazine hongrois Memoria online, et depuis peu avec la série-cartes postales en cours du Rêve d’Alice – avec le premier test d’impression ci-dessus !
